If you didn’t know already, I’m spending the week in New Jersey learning how to make BEASTS from some of the best strength and conditioning coaches IN THE WORLD. Yesterday was my first day at Zach Even-Esh’s Underground Strength Gym in Edison, NJ.
All I have to say is… WOW.
These guys know how to train.
All ranges of athletes from 7th grade wrestlers to a former collegiate fencer prepping for the FBI flock to a small, no B.S. gym and WRECK SHOP without using fancy machines or “modern” equipment. I’ll show exactly what I mean when I get to my “video lab” next week and get to show you guys the training footage.
I just couldn’t wait to share some of what I witnessed yesterday.
A large portion of Zach’s clients are smaller (less than 150 pounds) wrestlers. The kicker? These dudes are STRONG AS HELL.
I got the chance to watch this Undergrounder train in person and was HUGELY impressed. He’s shown below throwing around 62 and 70 pound kettlebells at a bodyweight of 119 pounds! He’s working with over his bodyweight and tossing the weight overhead with ease.
This athlete started training at the Underground weighing only 88 pounds! He does his “homework”, taking care of his body and EATING to support his training and has gained 31 pounds and is absolutely SHREDDED!
It’s time to stop making excuses about being too small and time to start KICKING ASS–this goes especially to my hometown Cotulla Cowboys–forget about being too small, it’s time to put in the work and get back on top. NO EXCUSES!

I’ll have more kick-ass content coming soon–this weekend is going to be SICK! About 15 like-minded individuals (including myself) will be going through The Underground Strength Gym Certification where we’ll be learning the tried and true “Secrets” of the Underground from the man himself–it’s a weekend full of BEAST-BUILDING, so look out!
